Marsha Millonig of the American Pharmacists Association To Speak at Interchange, October 8th
Marsha Millonig, President and CEO of Catalyst Enterprises, will speak at The Partnership for Safe Medicines Interchange on October 8th at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.
Marsha Millonig has 25 years of health care and pharmacy practice experience leading to diverse knowledge of industry issues from manufacturing and distribution to pharmacy. Marsha is a registered pharmacist. Her BS in Pharmacy is from the University of Minnesota and her M.B.A. from the University of Maryland. She is a practicing pharmacy and pharmacist immunizer, having volunteered at the Whitman Walker Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Clinic in Washington D.C. from 1995-2002 and is now working relief with Cub Foods, HealthPro Staffing, RPh on the Go, Erickson Drug and Blomberg Pharmacy in the Twin Cities. She is also President & CEO of Catalyst Enterprises, LLC.
Ms. Millonig has given more than 150 presentations to audiences ranging from few to thousands, facilitated more than 125 meetings with health care supply system and pharmacy executives during her career across a wide range of issues, and created, implemented and managed nearly 75 research projects and grant recipients. Marsha co-authored a book with William Tindall, PhD on innovative pharmacist services called "Pharmaceutical Care: Insights from Community Pharmacists." She recently completed a new book with practical ideas for improving medication therapy management and patient care services published in late 2008. Marsha has written journal articles, white papers, special topic newsletters for forums and practice institutes, newsletters on HIPAA, patient care, and clinical topics for pharmacists.
